We have a selection of picture books that have been adapted for those needing a much larger font size and illustrations. These books are 75pt font and also include grade 1 UEB braille. The illustrations have also been enlarged and cropped to focus on the main details in the pictures. Perfect for sharing after school or at bedtime.

We have a selection of BSL picture books and board books, which sign along with the story. There is also a number of books which help teach adults and younger children how to sign important words from a range of topics, such as meal times. There are reference books available too, if you find yourself needing to know the sign for a new word!

These are a pack containing both a physical copy of a book (standard print) and also a CD containing the audio book. They are to be used together, allowing the reader to ‘read-along’ together with the audio.

Currently for use in the library only, we have a selection of sensory stories from Bag Books. These lovingly created stories are designed to be enjoyed by both adults and children with SEND. They use real world props, sounds, smells and textures to support storytelling.
