Making digital accessible
Salford Libraries offer free public PC’s and printing services. If you have your own devices we have free WIFI and WIFI printing.
There is no need to book a PC as we have plenty available but if you do want to reserve one for use please contact the library who can arrange this for you.

Accessing your account
To see which items you have on loan, renew and reserve, you just need your library card number and four digit PIN. Please contact your local library if you have forgotten your PIN.
Digital Help Finder
Salford City Council also provide a free Digital Help Finder to help you get online, use the internet and improve your digital skills. Here you can find not only what is on offer in Salford Libraries, but across the entire city.
University of Salford Library
Members of Salford public libraries can register as a member of the university library and receive their own membership card which will enable them to borrow from the university’s libraries and come and go as they please.
University of Salford Community Access is a partnership between Salford’s public libraries and the University of Salford. The aim is to improve access to library resources for the whole Salford community by providing a more extensive and accessible library service.
You will need to show proof of identity with your address on such as a recent utility bill, or driving licence.
Members of the university can join Salford’s public libraries. The access scheme is open to anybody who lives, works or studies in Salford.
At University of Salford libraries:

- Reference access to specialist books and journals
- Access to some electronic resources
