Active Netball

Founded by members of our Active Communities Team who were passionate about making the sport they love more accessible, our Active Netball programme offers women of all ages, abilities and experience levels the opportunity to become more active and discover the joy of netball.

Session Times & Locations

Whether you’ve never played before, are a keen enthusiast, or only remember netball as a distant memory from your past, we have sessions to suit every age group and experience level. Our welcoming and enthusiastic team are always on hand to lead sessions and answer any questions you may have.

Our netball programme is not just about training, with participants able to take part in either the Junior Bury League or Active Netball Social League (age dependent). And, as with all our activities, Active Netball is not just about sport. Our programme is also about team and community building. The social aspect of the sport is as important to us as the games themselves. That’s why our netball groups and teams enjoy trips out including trips to watch Manchester Thunder competing in Super League Netball games, and an end of season day out to Alton Towers.
