We understand there may come a time when you’re thinking about cancelling your membership with us. But before you do, we want you to make sure this is the right decision for you.
Being active, leading a healthy lifestyle and undertaking regular exercise is more important than ever right now. Regular exercise is recognised as a great way to boost your immune system, maintain a healthy weight, lower blood pressure and increase heart health so we encourage all our members to take to regular exercise in our centres.
Freeze Your Membership If you are considering cancelling, did you know you can freeze your membership for up to 6 months? You can pay £5 per month to keep your membership frozen and return to your membership when you are ready. This really is the best option if you are unsure about keeping your membership. It means you can return at the same membership price you are currently paying.
Help and Support - If you’re thinking of cancelling because you need help with you fitness journey or if you need some support with a programme then let us know. Before you cancel, please contact your local centre, we’d love the opportunity to help you to get more out of your membership.

Still thinking of cancelling? Remember, if you do cancel, we cannot guarantee that you can sign up to a new membership in the future with the same rate you were previously paying. Our prices do rise and you would be paying more if you cancel and re-join in the future. We’ll be really sorry to see you go. To cancel your gym membership please complete and submit the form.
You should receive written confirmation within 10 working days. If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact us.
By completing this form, I wish to cancel my gym membership applying the required notice as per the terms and conditions on my membership agreement.
Alternatively you can freeze your membership for up to 6 months, to do so please complete the Freeze form instead.
Please note, that any cancellation requests submitted less than two working days before your monthly payment is due, will not be processed until the following month, as the monthly fee will have already been requested from your bank.
If you wish to freeze your gym membership please complete the below form.
You can request to freeze your membership for a period ranging from minimum of 1 month to maximum of 6 months. We offer two types of freezes: free of charge and chargeable.
Chargeable Freeze: For a fee of £5 per month, you can freeze your membership without needing to provide a reason.
The fee is paid upfront and is non-refundable if you request to unfreeze earlier.
Free of Charge Freeze: We offer a free freeze option for the following reasons, with proof required:
Change in your financial circumstances Medical reasons Pregnancy (You can request a freeze for a period of two months after your due date) Travel (Minimum of one month)
Please attach the necessary documentation to your request for a free of charge freeze.
Please note - It is at the discretion of SCLL to accept any request to freeze. The freeze will be confirmed to you in writing by SCLL and you must not assume your freeze has been processed until you receive this confirmation.
If you have joined on a minimum term membership and a freeze is agreed within the minimum term period the remainder of the minimum term period will apply from the date the freeze ends.
Any forms submitted in the 3 working days before your payment due date won’t be processed until the following month as the payment will already have been requested from the bank.
Memberships can be frozen for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 6 months.
For lesson bookings, freezes are only offered free of charge in cases of medical necessity, and supporting medical documentation is required.
Please ensure any relevant documentation is attached to your request if applying for a free of charge freeze.
Important: All freeze requests are subject to approval at the discretion of SCLL. You will receive written confirmation if your request has been accepted — please do not assume your freeze is in place until you receive this confirmation.

P45 and bank statements will not be accepted.
Official medical proof only, no photos of the injury will be accepted.
Proof of due date.
Proof must cover the full timescale, one-way tickets will not be accepted.
